J17G - Christmas Ornaments 2017

The Christmas decorations that Iceland Post offers its customers in 2017 are based on the rich cultural heritage of goldwork, which plays an important part in the Icelandic national costume. A set of Christmas decorations on the same theme and by the same designer was issued in 2011. The set contains three 8 cm gold-plated brass mobiles. Each piece comes with a golden thread for hanging. The ornaments were designed by Guðbjörg Ringsted.
