The Akureyri Park Café. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Akureyri and the 100th anniversary of its park the municipality decided to build a coffeehouse in the park, where the two oldest buildings in town are also situated. The design of the modern coffeehouse took full account of these ancient buildings. Kollgáta Architects designed the Park Café.
